The coronavirus outbreak continued to develop in Jilin City, Jilin Province. However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has blocked the actual infection information just as they had previously done in Wuhan.
The Jilin Health Committee recently published a decision that the Leading Group of the Jilin Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Work made. In order to ensure Beijing’s safety before the epidemic risk in Jilin is removed, Jilin citizens are prohibited from going to Beijing via flight, train, bus, or their own cars. The police will control the check points and “handle” those violators “according to the law and regulations.”

据吉林市卫健委官网消息，为全力维护疫情防控期间首都北京的安全稳定，吉林市疫情防控工作领导小组决定，按照“内防扩散、外防输出、严格管控”的要求，自即日起至疫情风险等级解除前，禁止吉林市居民进京。通告全文如下：
1、我市居民在疫情风险等级未解除前，禁止通过民航、铁路、客运、自驾等方式进京。
2、公安机关将严控民航、铁路、客运、环城卡口等进京通道。对不听劝阻，拒不执行吉林市疫情防控工作领导小组在紧急状态下发布的命令、决定，私自购票进京、自驾进京或者通过其他方式进京的，公安机关将依据相关法律规定依法处理。
3、本通告自发布之日起施行。
